My Native Land
I love my native land,
Its peaceful, lowland plains;
I love its mountains grand,
Its sun and cooling rains.
I love its stately palms,
Each graceful flowering tree;
I love my native land -
It's the best on earth for me.
I love its waving grains,
The whipering bamboo green;
I love the orchid rare,
Of every flower, the queen.
I love its wind-swept shores,
The restless open sea;
I love my native land
It's the best on earth for me
Note:I do not own this poem, its one of my little sister's assignment, her teacher gave it to them to analyze. I just posted it because i love it. =p
